Diane Moon, DNP, WHNP-BC is a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience. At Total Woman Health in Elkin, North Carolina, she provides current and comprehensive expertise in the full spectrum of health and medical issues that women face.

After receiving her master’s degree in nursing, Diane went on to attain her Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Her vast medical experience includes preventive healthcare, cancer screening, chronic disease diagnosis and management, primary care, and urgent care.

Diane offers a full menu of gynecological services, including annual well-woman exams, disease screenings and other forms of preventive care, management and treatment for chronic and acute gynecological problems, and birth control. She strives to establish the kind of lasting relationships with her patients that will help her meet their general gynecological health needs through various life changes.

Diane’s primary goal is to develop close relationships with her patients. Her attentive listening skills and willingness to answer any question help create a comfortable and safe treatment space. She believes strongly that the patient is an integral member of the patient-provider team. “My goal is for every one of my patients to become healthier and happier,” she says. “I don’t just focus on the symptoms, but rather on what is causing those symptoms.”

Diane is married to a retired Marine and has one son. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding, listening to music, reading, and spending time outdoors.
